Pre/Post Natal Chiropractic Services from Premier Chiropractic Solutions

Pre and Postnatal Chiropractic Care

Here at Premier Chiropractic Solutions, we offer a conservative approach to treating pregnant women. Our prenatal chiropractic care is gentle and safe for mom and baby. We aim to alleviate the stress and strains of pregnancy while improving comfort for both the mother and the baby. We understand the physical changes that come with pregnancy, and we offer relief without using any drugs.

Prenatal Chiropractic Care

Pregnant women can benefit from prenatal chiropractic care for a number of reasons. The changes that pregnancy brings to a woman’s body include shifts in weight distribution and changes in posture. This can cause back pain, back discomfort, and increased muscle tension. Pregnancy-related changes can also place pressure on the sciatic nerve, leading to pain and discomfort.

Pregnant women may also experience pelvic pain due to changes in pelvic joints and ligaments. We’ll use gentle, proven techniques to help stabilize and alleviate discomfort in the pelvic area. We can also help to optimize pelvic alignment to ensure that the pelvic bones are properly positioned prior to the birthing process. This technique improves comfort for the mother during the birthing process and helps to create an optimal fetal position for childbirth.

We’ll use gentle techniques to address these issues and provide relief to expecting mothers. These adjustments will stabilize discomfort and improve mobility as the delivery date approaches. We want mothers to feel balanced, confident, and as comfortable as possible during the delivery process.

Postnatal Chiropractic Care

Pregnancy and childbirth can add a significant amount of stress to the spine, pelvis, and the surrounding muscles and ligaments. Our chiropractic services will address these issues and assist in the recovery process. We’ll work to correct any misalignments  or imbalances that occurred during pregnancy or the delivery process.

Some women can experience pelvic floor issues after childbirth, resulting in muscle weakness or dysfunction. We’ll use techniques to address any pelvic misalignment and provide support for pelvic floor health.  We also focus on helping women improve their posture after childbirth. The physical demands of a newborn can be tough on a woman’s body, but our team is experienced in working to improve these issues.
